Used notebooks for sale to students

LQ students,

ITE, East is conducting an exercise to sell condemned/used notebooks (in serviceable condition) to students.

launching the sale of these used notebooks (65 nos.) to full-time students from Mon 16 Oct 06 to Fri 20 Oct 06. Students who are interested to purchase the notebooks may register their interest at the Customer & Visitor Centre from 9am to 5pm from 16 to 20 Oct 06. Each complete set of notebook (consiting of the notebook, charger, mouse, port replicator, floppy drive, CD ROM drive & carrier case) will be sold to students at $120 each. Specifications and the terms and conditions for sale of the notebooks are shown in below :

Posters will be placed at the 4 Schools' notice boards as well as the cafeteria to create awareness of the sales. Your assistance is also needed to inform your students of this sale. This is an opportunity for needy students who do not own PCs at home, to acquire one.

If demand exceeds supply, a ballot will be conducted by IS Division to determine the allocation of the Notebooks to the students. Successful applicants will be informed by Fri 10 Nov 06.
